3 » Student Observatory is used for elementary astronomy laboratories.
4 » Stuyvesant Hall is the oldest
residence hall in use and houses 255 men and women. It is coed by suite
and also houses the Wellness Center. Stuyvesant Hall consists of quads
with their own bathrooms.
5 » Hayes Hall is an all-women's
residence hall that houses 194 students. Hayes Hall consists of quads
with their own bathrooms.
6 and 7 » Smith Hall is a residence
hall that houses 377 men and women — 140 in the west wing (6) and 237
in the east wing (7). It is coed by suite.
R and S » Small Living Units (SLUs) are former private
residences that focus on specific student interests. The SLUs have a
capacity of 10-15 students each, and the themes for this academic year
are The Creative Arts House (Creativity and Arts), The House
of Black Culture (African American issues), The Habitat for Humanity House, The
House of Peace and Justice (Peace and Justice), The House of Thought (Freedom
and Thought), The International House (International Cultures
and issues), The Modern Foreign Languages House (Foreign Language), The
Tree House (Environmentalism), and The Women's House (Women's
