A former U.S. Post Office, the Richard M. Ross Art Museum at Humphreys Hall was acquired in 1969, and for several decades it housed the Fine Arts Department (before its move to Edgar Hall in 2001), the Lynn Mayhew Gallery, and numerous darkrooms and workshop studios. It was extensively renovated in the summer of 2002 to serve as the Ross Art Museum, which now displays portions of the Ohio Wesleyan University Permanent Collection as well as rotating exhibits.
