Built more than 100 years ago, University Hall serves as the landmark of Ohio Wesleyan with its soaring bell tower and peaked roof. It houses many administrative offices -- including Business Affairs, Accounting, Purchasing, Personnel/Payroll, Student Loans, Ohio Wesleyan Junior League (OWjL), the University Mail Room, the Cashier, the Registrar, and the President -- as well as the Modern Foreign Languages department and numerous faculty offices and classrooms.
 
University Hall received a new slate roof and exterior restoration in 1997, thereby ensuring its continued legacy. It is the home of Gray Chapel, which is among the region's preeminent concert halls. Gray Chapel reopened in 1980 after extensive renovation and the installation of the Rexford Keller Memorial Concert Organ, now worth $1,250,000.
