![]() Job Posting Instructional Technologist Ohio Wesleyan University (www.owu.edu) is a selective, private, undergraduate liberal arts, residential institution founded in 1842 and is located just 20 miles north of Columbus. Reporting Relationship: Executive Director of Information Technology Position Overview: The Instructional Technologist is responsible for providing support and training for all technologies related to the classroom experience at Ohio Wesleyan University. This includes developing and conducting training programs for faculty, providing support for equipment in the classrooms, providing recommendations for new technologies that can supplement the learning experience, and working with faculty on technology integration projects. Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. 5 years of customer service support in an educational setting. Must be able to demonstrate prior experience working with faculty and providing classroom support. Macintosh and Windows operating system experience. Must be self-motivated, and possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels and across organizations. Ability to support mobile devices and familiarity with Blackboard course management system is preferred.
