Note: If your flight departure and/or arrival times do not correspond with the dates and times that are given for the OWU Shuttle Service, you are responsible for your own transportation.
 
Students must sign up for rides by stopping by the Dean of Student's offce or by sending an e-mail to deansoffice@owu.edu with your name, room phone number, cell phone number, the days and times you want to travel to and from the airport and the time of your flights. This much be done to ensure a space on the van. Please do not wait till the last minute.
 
If you need to sign up for return shuttle service or change your service time or cancel it, you may do so by 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 11 at deansoffice@owu.edu or 740/368-3135. After 5:00 p.m. on Friday you need to contact OWU Public Safety at 740/368-2222 to sign up or make any changes. Any questions please call x3135, Dean of Students office.
 
OWU Shuttle Service
 
OWU will have Shuttle Vans parked on the residence side of campus in Smith parking lot beside the back entrance on these dates and times for runs to the Port Columbus International Airport:
 
Friday, March 4 - noon, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Saturday, March 5 - 9:00 a.m., noon and 4 p.m.
Sunday, March 6 - 9 a.m. and noon
 
Note: Please pick the closest time to your flight time, keeping in mind that you will need an extra hour or more at the airport. While on the shuttle, please sign up (including your return flight date and time) to ensure your space on the return trip.
 
 
Urban Express Transportation
If you prefer to set up your own time schedule you may contact Urban Express Transportation at 1-877-840-0411 (Toll free)
 
Shuttle rates are: (these are special rates for OWU)
 
1 passenger $45.00 (plus tax)
2 passengers $30.00 each (plus tax)
3 passengers $25.00 each (plus tax)
4 - 7 passengers $20.00 each (plus tax)
8 - 10 passengers $ 15.00 each (plus tax)
11+ passengers call for rates
 
Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Call their office for reservations. Cash, Visa, MC, AMEX, Discover accepted. NO personal checks.
 
 
 

 
OWU Shuttle Service
 
For students who are using the return shuttle service the "PICK-UP" location will be in the shuttle parking area at the airport, which is on the same level as the baggage claim. After you pick up your baggage go out the main doors of that level and cross the usual pick-up area then cross the taxi pick-up area and you will see the shuttle parking ­ look for OWU or Thrifty Vans ­ we will have something in the window of the Thrifty vans so you will know them, the OWU vans are already identifiable.

Sunday, March 13 » noon, 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. *
 
Note: If you are only using the OWU Shuttle Service for your return trip, it is important that you contact the Dean of Students Office at deansoffice@owu.edu with a pick-up date and time before leaving to ensure your space on the shuttle.
 
If your flight is delayed and does not fit within the shuttle pick-up times, it is your own responsibility to find a way back to campus. We cannot ask the shuttle to wait for you if you are not at the pick-up location on time.
