The Alumni in Residence program brings alumni back to campus (virtual or in- person) to help students. Alumni have the opportunity to choose ways in which they may assist. Some areas of assistance include mock interviews, career advice, and review of resumes and cover letters.

Jim spent more than 20 years employed as Assistant Principal/Athletic Director, Assistant Principal/Activities Director and Principal at Lexington High School. He retired in 2011 after 11 years as principal.
At OWU, Jim played on the basketball and tennis teams and was an active member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
Charlotte owns Magog Consulting, a political consulting firm in Columbus. Charlotte brings nearly two decades of experience helping clients with legislative and regulatory interests before all branches of government, especially the Legislative and Executive branches of state government.
Dan Sharpe is the current Vice President, Community Research and Grants Management at The Columbus Foundation. He has studied at the Harvard Business School of Executive Education, and received a Masters of Public Administration from Ohio University. He has held a variety of positions at The Columbus Foundation since 2004 including Online Media Manager and Director of Community Leadership and Nonprofit Effectiveness.
Chip has more than 20 years of experience managing a wide variety of economic development fundraising campaigns at the county, metro and regional levels.
Prior to joining Columbus 2020 full time, Chip managed more than 25 campaigns in markets throughout the US including – Detroit, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City, New Orleans and Memphis to name a few.
Mark Shipps spent most of his professional career in the environmental services industry, specializing in engineering, design, and construction. After graduation from OWU, he served as an officer with the U.S. Coast Guard. Following senior leadership roles with several companies, Mark co-founded and was the President and Chairman of the Board of the American Environmental Group in Richfield, Ohio.
Ginny Shipps has over twenty years' experience teaching reading and language arts. She served as Language Arts Consultant, Literacy Coach and Reading Recovery Teacher with Stow City Schools before retiring in 2006.
Jimmy is currently an Account Executive for Indeed.com, the number one job site in the world. Prior to joining Indeed in December 2017, he worked as the Marketing Coordinator for TravelBound, the retail division of GTA. Upon graduating from OWU in 2016, he worked as a Marketing and Events Intern for DigitalC, a civic tech startup, in the Summer on the Cuyahoga internship program in Cleveland.
