Visiting Assistant Professor of Microbiology
The Department of Botany and Microbiology invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Microbiology for the 2020-21 academic year. The position includes teaching 1 lecture section and 2 laboratory sections of Medical Microbiology in Fall semester and 1 lecture section and 2 laboratory sections of Bacterial Physiology in Spring semester. Ohio Wesleyan University is one of only a few small colleges throughout the country to offer a major in Microbiology, and has excellent infrastructure for teaching, research, and laboratory support in Microbiology. OWU seeks faculty members committed to teaching excellence and who have a strong interest in seeking additional experience and mentoring at a small, undergraduate institution. The successful candidate will join a vibrant community of more than 13 faculty members with a wide range of research and teaching interests across the life sciences.
