Procurement exists to drive best practices and achieve economies of scale in the procurement of goods and services necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the University and to ensure our suppliers are paid in a timely manner. The University if obligated only for materials or services purchases via a purchase order.
We are the University central sourcing experts and provide assistance on how to make purchases and use University buying tools such as Jaggaer, the University e-procurement system. We recognize that each type of purchase is different. As a result, there are different methods of making purchases and different considerations to include in your buying decision. Customer Service is a critical part to our mission. In addition, we offer department reviews and custom training sessions to enable savings and productivity across campus.
