Empowering Students to Thrive
Ohio Wesleyan University's Summer Bridge Program (SBP) is a three-week, credit-bearing residential experience program designed to equip students with the skills to thrive at OWU. Students will participate in a classroom experience designed to strengthen their quantitative, qualitative, and critical thinking skills, while gaining key insights and resources across the university. The program is open to all incoming first-year students with a focus on first-generation students, low-income students, students of color, and/or LGBTQIA students.
SBP is Completely Free!
Housing, meals, and social activities are completely covered by the Division of Student Success & Engagement. Students and families are only expected to pay for personal items and transportation to campus.

Housing & Meals
Students will live together in one of OWU's unique housing options and experience OWU life under the mentorship of upperclass peer mentors. As a participant, you will also have the opportunity to move into your permanent residence hall earlier than the regular move-in date for first-year students. All meals are provided during the program.
