Baccalaureate is a chance for graduating seniors and their families to reflect on and celebrate their spiritual journey at OWU. This reflection and celebration can come in the form of personal stories, sacred readings, music, dance, etc. Whatever the format, the key is the connection to your spiritual journey.

Often people misunderstand Baccalaureate, so it's also important to note what it is not. Baccalaureate is not a talent show, a commencement address, or a time for personal thank-you's to everyone who's supported you as a college student.

Baccalaureate is an intentionally interfaith service. Students of all traditions are welcome to participate. As you consider how to reflect on and celebrate your own journey, keep in mind that you will be sharing that journey with a wonderfully diverse community.

Please note: Out of respect for all participants and those attending, we ask that each participation be limited to 3-4 minutes. Thank you!

Deadline: Applications are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023. For questions, please contact Chad Johns at cejohns@owu.edu.
