Style Guide - Page Templates

You can choose a Template for your page when you create a new subpage, or while editing an existing page, by clicking on the Properties tab. Learn more about the different templates below:

Flexible Templates:

• Content: This is the default template, and is used on many subpages. It includes a header background, page introduction, page content area, space for in-content blocks and/or full-width callout blocks, then contact info and an Instagram feed.
• Content - Full Width: This template includes the same elements as the Content template, but it will not display any navigation buttons on the right, allowing the page to start with or only include full-width callout blocks.
• Department Landing: This template was designed for academic and administrative office's landing pages. It does not allow header background selection, and uses a custom image instead. Below the Page Content area, there are areas for Majors and Minors. Below that you can add the following optional blocks: Featured Custom Event / News Callout, Large Photo Carousel, Multi-Column Text Callouts (Red), or People Carousel. It also includes Contact Information, but not an Instagram Feed.
• Major Landing: This template was designed to introduce areas of study. It also does not allow selection of a header background, instead using a custom image. Below the Page Content area, there are Subsections with Photo Carousels to highlight topics or special focus areas of the major or minor. Then there are areas for Highlights, Graduate Outcomes, and News & Events, plus a space below those for either Featured Custom Event / News Callouts or Media Gallery Grids. It also includes Contact Information, but not an Instagram Feed.
• Admission: This template was designed for the Admission Office.

• Connections: This template was designed for The OWU Connection.
  • Additional features include:
    • Header Stories

    • Graduate Outcomes
  • This template had no page contact information and does not display blocks
• Flexible Connections: This is designed for the Career Connection landing page. 
  • Additional Features include:  
    • Header Stories
    • Events Carousel
    • Carousel Blocks
    • Life After OWU
    • Graduate Outcomes
• Flexible Landing: This was designed as an alternative to the Department Landing template.
• Alumni & Friends: This template was designed for Alumni Relations and Development.
  • Additional Features include:

    • Honoring Alumnis
• Gateway: This template was designed for engaging site visitors.
• FAQs: This is a template for displaying frequently asked questions and their answers that expand and collapse.
  • This template pulls from an FAQ category
  • There is only an Introduction field above the FAQ content
• 2017 Campaign: This template was designed for our capital campaign.
• Department Faculty: This will display a directory of faculty in a department.

Special Templates 

• Events Calendar: This template displays a calendar of events for a selected category.
• News & Media: This template displays news and media for a selected category.
• Form Builder: This is the template for displaying a selected web form.
  • To use, select the form from the module you would like to use 
  • Set the page introduction, the email address it will send the submissions to, and the Thank You page title and content
• Faculty Directory: This is the template for displaying the directory of all faculty.
• Offices & Services Directory: This is the template for displaying the directory of all offices and services.
• Clubs & Organizations: This is the template for displaying the directory of all student groups.
• Student Directory: This is the template for displaying the directory of all students.
