It is also appropriate for graduate and professional school programs interested in gaining visibility among a bright and talented group of students. Nearly a quarter of OWU students pursue further education immediately after graduation.

Bishops are well rounded students graduating with a liberal arts degree. Many students have more than one major and if not multiple minors. They have traveled and gained hands on experience alongside their professors.
Many OWU students will graduate with lots of experience under their belt through internships and research opportunities.
Many students have even traveled the world to gain experience in their field through writing grants and participating in travel courses.
Some classes spend half the semester learning the subject while the second half of the semester is spent teaching members of the community.
