Matriculation costs, tuition, and fees at University of Oxford are covered for two years, with the possibility of a third-year renewal. Also provides a modest stipend for living expenses and travel costs to and from Oxford.
A total of 32 scholarships are awarded to U.S. citizens and certain U.S. lawful permanent residents each year. International students are encouraged to consult the Rhodes web site at www.rhodeshouse.ox.ac.uk/about/rhodes-countries for a list of other eligible countries. Applicant qualifications include outstanding academic credentials, participation and success in athletics, and excellent strength of character. Competition for the Rhodes Scholarships is extremely intense. Applicants must be at least 18 but not yet 24 years of age on October 1 in the year the application is submitted.
Rhodes deadline: October 1, 2015. Students wishing to submit an application for the Rhodes Scholarship should do so during their junior year.
