Assistant Professor of Psychology
Ohio Wesleyan University is a selective, private, undergraduate liberal arts, residential institution founded in 1842 and is located just 20 miles north of Columbus.
The Psychology Department at Ohio Wesleyan University seeks to fill a tenure track opening in clinical or counseling psychology to begin August 2017. Candidates should have a Ph. D. in clinical or counseling psychology, a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, an understanding of and appreciation for a liberal arts education and a well-articulated research program capable of including advanced undergraduates as collaborators. The successful candidate will teach introductory psychology, abnormal psychology and advanced courses in the candidate’s area of expertise, as well as supervise students in on and off campus internships. We are especially interested in candidates who can teach advanced courses in areas that will complement our existing curriculum. Candidates with postdoctoral teaching and/or research experience are preferred.
