Blackboard's Designing Exemplary Courses

Information Services is excited to welcome Karla Stroud, Senior Training Consultant for Blackboard Education Services, for a 4-session online workshop to help instructors learn how to transform their courses from an informational resource to an interactive learning environment. The sessions will take place on January 8, 9, 11 and 12 (MTRF), from 10:00 AM to noon, and will be hosted online through Blackboard Collaborate, so you are welcome to attend from your home, office, any other comfortable space with WiFi, or join us in person in Corns 109. All four sessions are part of a single course, so please plan to attend all of them.

The workshop is designed to help instructors learn best practices around the architecture of Blackboard Learn courses which will streamline the course experience for both the students and the instructor. Participants will be able to engage in discussion about what the specifics of a successful Blackboard course design are, and will build an instructional unit to serve as a model for future development. It will be relevant to instructors modifying an existing course or building a new course.the Blackboard Learn unified Ultra interface displayed on multiple device screens
