HOW TO GIVE

The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) depends on the support of OWU alumni to help fund essential programs that encourage diversity, inclusion, and provide support for the Women’s Resource Center, Spectrum (LGBTQIA+), and Global Majority initiatives.

We need you! To donate, please click here  and designate your donation to the OMSA program you wish to support. Please remember that all of these OMSA programs are in special need and any gift would be deeply appreciated.

House of Black Culture

The House of Black Culture (HBC) has been part of the history of African Americans at  Ohio Wesleyan since it was attained in 1971 by black students out of the need to experience a sense of collective identity that could not otherwise be felt on a predominately white campus. The House of Black Culture serves as a means for black students to discuss their commonality and interact with one another on a level of familiarity that would be foreign to other OWU students. (Contributions support HBC programs and house upkeep and renovation.)

Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (Global Majority Initiatives)

By giving to the Office of Multicultural Affairs, your donation will support directly the wide variety of programs and services the office provides to enrich the living and learning experience for OWU students of color and first-generation students.

The Women’s Resource Center

Donations for the Women’s Resource Center will go toward upkeep, supplies, and programming.  We are currently looking for ways to update our services and every token of love helps!

Spectrum (2SLGBTQIA+)

The services and community within Spectrum are constantly evolving and we need your help to sustain this growth. Please consider donating time, talent, and/or resources to the Center.

Willa B. Player Black Resource Center (‘The Cave’)

Donations for the cave will go toward upkeep and supplies for OMSA organizations.
