STRIDE: Standing Together to Reduce Intolerance and Develop Equality
STRIDE is a continuous year-long lunch-time dialogue series that offers conversation around issues of oppression, privilege, intolerance, and celebration of similarities and differences. The dialogue series is an opportunity for open and honest communication on various topics in the spirit of understanding and community while creating safe space for people to share and embrace varying views and each other. STRIDE will explore possible topics, issues and areas of sexism, classism, racism, politics, ethnicity, access, GLBTQ, religion, age, ability, and systematic oppression. STRIDE dialogue meets on the first Tuesday of every month at noon in HWCC Benes Room C.
