EXPLORE: High School Theological Institute
This is your call to EXPLORE your Christian life with other high school juniors and seniors for eight days on a university campus. Come experience theological study in a college classroom; serve in the community with different segments of society; and discover God's presence in your life through time in the wilderness.
Dates: June 10 -17, 2018
At EXPLORE, you will participate in an academic study of faith traditions, both Protestant and Catholic, that comes to life in a faithful campus classroom.
At EXPLORE, you will learn from faithful Protestant and Catholic scholars who apply sacred scripture, theology, and tradition to both their academic and personal lives.
At EXPLORE, you will find ways to enrich your own faith through small group discussions and conversations with your peers and Institute mentors.
At EXPLORE, you can connect your personal passions with the desperate needs of the world in a way that brings people and communities together.
At EXPLORE, you will interact with urgent societal needs through real world experiences that link your faith journey to tangible and practical answers.
At EXPLORE, you can discover where your interests, skills, gifts, graces, and charisms best fit a particular need or concern in the world, and how you can stand with those who are most impacted.
At EXPLORE, you will encounter Protestant and Catholic leaders from a variety of ministries who will inspire you to discover God's call for you and how to live out that call.
At EXPLORE, you will join with peers from various Christian traditions who are asking similar questions and exploring the answers as they dream what might be possible for their lives personally and professionally.
At EXPLORE, you will participate in worship and reflection that will give you an opportunity to hear God's voice speaking to you, leading you, and loving you—helping you draw closer to Him.
