Amanda graduated from Marietta College in 2006 with a B.A. in Spanish. After working as a college admissions counselor, she decided to pursue an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration at Kent State University. Since graduating in 2009, Amanda worked in several departments at Ohio Wesleyan University, including Residential Life, Career Services, First-Year Advising and the Chaplain's Office (as the former Associate Chaplain for Catholic Campus Ministry). With a love for travel and passion for social justice, Amanda also spent a year volunteering at Love and Hope Children's Home in El Salvador and has helped facilitate numerous student mission trips and travel-learning experiences. Outside of OWU, Amanda has volunteered and worked in high school youth ministry at her parish and is in the middle of pursuing a Master's in Theological Studies at the University of Dayton. She lives with her husband, Ryan, in Sunbury, Ohio, and in their free time, they enjoy volunteering with their parish, watching Designated Survivor and The Big Bang Theory, and playing board games with family and friends.
