Institute Advisor, Director for the Wilderness Experience and Applied Seminar Presenter

William is an Associate Chaplain and Director of Wilderness Ministry at Ohio Wesleyan University. He directs the annual outdoor and service pre-orientation program and the Spring Break Wilderness Trek program. His wilderness trips with students have taken him all over the United States and to Ecuador and Chile. He has a passion to cultivate the intellectual side of faith and leads various Bible studies focusing on Christian discipleship, doctrine, and theological exploration. He received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and his M.A. in Religion from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. He is an active member of Delaware City Vineyard Church and holds certifications as a Wilderness First Responder and a Leave No Trace Outdoor Ethics Trainer. His work at OWU is through a partnership with the Coalition for Christian Outreach campus ministry. He lives in Delaware, OH with his wife and four children.
