Unlike more traditional Baccalaureate services, ours is an interfaith celebration of the spiritual journeys of the senior class. Common Texts is a discussion group centered around the sacred texts of the Abrahamic faiths. Students gather to discuss the Tanakh, the Gospels, and the Qur’an. Similarities and differences are explored in open, respectful dialogue. Contact Chaplain Powers for more information.
Christian Student Leadership Council
The CSLC meets to facilitate ecumenical cooperation and understanding among the various Christian groups on campus and is made up of representatives selected from each group. Contact is Sharon Hayes.
Disciple Bible Study
Disciple Bible Study follows a curriculum designed by the United Methodist Church for in-depth, intensive exploration of the Bible in 36 weeks. The program spans two academic years, with the Old Testament the focus of the first year and the New Testament the subject of the second. Disciple Bible Study is limited to 12 participants per year.
