The Ross Art Museum provides a variety of educational opportunities to Ohio Wesleyan University students and the community. We present exhibitions and conduct programs that students and visitors find both informative and meaningful, and we provide students with real-world experience in gallery operations and management.

The year-long Gallery Practicum class taught by the museum’s director provides students with useful behind-the-scenes information and meaningful hands-on experience in handling artwork and mounting exhibitions. Several previous class participants have secured employment in commercial art galleries, museums, and other art-related organizations soon after graduating from Ohio Wesleyan.
