Research Interests

Lisa Tabak coordinates the instructional laboratories in the Zoology Department. Her research and teaching background is in human and animal forensic DNA technology, microsatellite DNA analysis of avian populations, and freshwater invertebrate ecology and toxicology. She is the Curatorial Director of the OWU Museum of Natural History, located on the first floor of the Science Center.

Other

Ms. Tabak serves on the Institution Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). She also acts as a liaison between local school districts and faculty and staff interested in serving as mentors to middle and high school students pursuing science fair research.
