Dr. Mary Shelton Davis, DMA, holds degrees from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory and the Ohio State University.  She has played with orchestras from Annapolis to West Virginia to Dayton to Cincinnati and Columbus – serving as principal cellist on many occasions. Dr. Davis is a coach with the Chamber Music Connection and gives cello lessons in her own private studio, which she opened in 1990. She has given concerto performances with both the Dayton Philharmonic and the Columbus Bach Ensemble. Dr. Davis joined OWU in January of 2012.
