Prerequisites & Other Considerations:

PSYC 210. Prerequisites: C- or better in PSYC 110. PSYC 210 fulfills the Quantitative competency degree requirement. Students may not receive credit for this course and MATH 105, MATH 200.3, or MATH 230.

PSYC 310. Prerequisites: C- or better in PSYC 110; C- or better in either PSYC 210, MATH 105, MATH 200.3, MATH 230, or MATH 360, and pass one additional psychology course. PSYC 310 fulfills the Writing competency degree requirement. ***Students are strongly encouraged to take a statistics course at Ohio Wesleyan rather than transferring a course from another institution for this requirement, as courses taken at other institutions often do not provide adequate preparation for PSYC 310.

Other Considerations. Credit/no entry courses will not count toward the major. Up to 13 units of credit from psychology courses can be used towards the university graduation requirement. Students can count one honors tutorial (190) as a Tier 2 course.
