Samantha Fox is a decolonial political economist who conducts research on extractive development and indigenous autonomy in Guatemala. She works with Sustainable Development Guatemala (DESGUA) organizing autonomous educational programming and global support networks for Central Americans and others integrated into migrant networks. Her research and teaching interests are in environmental sociology, development, structural inequalities, and decoloniality. Her pedagogy is driven by an interest in creative engaged citizens building a more just and sustainable world.
