Ours is one of the few liberal arts schools in the state that offers the teaching license in theatre education, which can be completed within the four years on campus.

About the Major

To receive the state’s Multi-age License in Drama and Theatre, you will major in Theatre and minor in Education. In addition, during your senior year you will complete a senior project and a semester of student teaching.

Leah Shaffer '13

As the Education Director at Gulfshore Playhouse in Naples, Florida, Leah directs education programs for children, teens, and adults at one of Southwest Florida’s premier theatre companies. Leah majored in Theatre Education and Women's & Gender Studies.
