Chase Agin

Hometown: Blacklick, Ohio

My name is Chase Agin, and I am from Blacklick, Ohio. I graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School in June of 2018. While attending high school, I participated in soccer at the varsity level and won three OHSAA Division II State Championships in my four-year career, winning my senior year as a team captain. I also was the president of my school’s Italian Club which taught about Italian life and culture. At Ohio Wesleyan, I plan to major in finance in hopes of getting a job as an investment banker and eventually opening my own investment firm. I also plan on playing soccer at Ohio Wesleyan in hopes of winning a national championship!

Kofi Ansah-Tutu

Hometown: Lewis Center, Ohio

My name is Kofi Ansah-Tutu, and I’m from Lewis Center, Ohio. I attended Olentangy Orange High School, where I was involved in varsity track and football for 4 years. I plan to continue my football career as a wide receiver/tight end at Ohio Wesleyan University. Along with my athletics, I took French for 5 years and was part of the French club at my high school. I seek to utilize the skills that I learn in the EMF program to better my understanding of Economics as a whole. I’m very excited to be in the EMF program and look forward to a great year!

Maxwell Beard

Hometown: Palo Alto, California

My name is Max Beard and I am from Palo Alto, California. I attended Henry M. Gunn High School and have been a part of a host of extracurricular activities. I play two instruments and was part of the school’s symphonic band, jazz band, and choir. I was also a member of the wrestling team and will continue to wrestle at OWU. Although I do not have much experience with business and economics I am intrigued by the versatility of the field and hope to learn more about the subject’s various dimensions, especially marketing. I am looking forward to being a part of this special program and meeting new faces this fall!

Cooper Berry

Hometown: Middlefield, Connecticut

My name is Cooper Berry. I am from Middlefield, a small town in Central CT. I am a track athlete focused mostly on pole vault, but I also participate in the decathlon. I attended a small high school of about 500 students, where I was the track captain. During my summers I work full time at a golf course, mowing grass, raking bunkers, and various other tasks. I love listening to music and finding old audio equipment when I am not running or working. While at OWU I plan on majoring in accounting.

Brooklynn Buck

Hometown: Kings Mills, Ohio

My name is Brooklynn Buck and I am from Kings Mills, Ohio, north of Cincinnati. I graduated from Kings High School where I participated in several activities including National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, soccer, basketball, ski club, and I was the president of the Spanish club as well as the senior class president. At Ohio Wesleyan University I plan to study International Business and Spanish. I am very excited for the Economics Management Fellows Program and to begin my first year at OWU!

Nicholas Canitia

Hometown: Chesterland, Ohio

My name is Nick Canitia, and I am from a small suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. I attended Hawken Upper School in Gates Mills for high school. While at Hawken I was part of Red Key Society and philanthropy club, while also being a captain of the football team and playing basketball. My interest in business began after taking an entrepreneurship course during my junior year of high school. Throughout this course, I worked with fellow classmates to create business plans for real companies in the Cleveland Area. I believe that this program will give me great structure and vision as I begin my college career this fall. I am looking forward to both the Economic Fellows Program and playing for the Battling Bishops at Selby Stadium.

Yilun (Hanna) Cao

Hometown: Changsha, China

My name is Yilun Cao, and I am from Changsha, China. I was an exchange student in Oregon for two years, where I attended Summit High School in Bend, OR and graduated from Ridgeview High School in Redmond. During my senior year, I was the Secretary in Key Club, as well as an Ex-Youth Officio in a Redmond City Government Citizen Committee. I plan to major in Data Analytics and perhaps minor in Finance. I am fascinated with how the business world works and I desire strongly to learn more about it. I am very honored to be included in the Economics Management Fellows Program and I can’t wait to attend OWU this fall!

Jack Damon

Hometown: Portsmouth, Rhode Island

My name is Jack Damon and I am from Portsmouth, Rhode Island. I attended Portsmouth High School for all four years, where I participated in varsity lacrosse, soccer, and Student Council. At OWU I will continue to play lacrosse while I complete my studies. My interest in business was sparked through my father and grandfather’s careers, as well as my high school Economics teacher. I am excited to be apart of the OWU EMF program!

Gram Dick

Hometown: Bucyrus, Ohio

Hi, my name is Gram Dick, and I am from Bucyrus Ohio. I attended Bucyrus High School and participated in football, basketball, and baseball. I was the captain of all three sports. I had the opportunity to go to state DECA after placing first in my district. DECA gave me the passion to pursue a career in business, and hopefully a career of business HR. My career at Bucyrus High School has taught me the skills of leadership, teamwork, and resiliency. I will also be continuing my football career as a Bishop, and am very excited to attend OWU!

Jacob Dodds

Hometown: Denham Springs, Louisiana

My name is Jacob Dodds, I grew up in Denham Springs, Louisiana a suburb on the outskirts of Baton Rouge. I attended Denham Springs High School where I played Bassoon in the Wind Ensemble and took various AP classes. During my junior year, I started my own business focusing on website development and expanded it during my senior year to include social media marketing and management. As a result of this interest, I took AP Macroeconomics which furthered my interest in the business world and how it affects the economy as a whole.

Chase Dusek

Hometown: McKinney, Texas

My name is Chase Dusek, and I am from McKinney, Texas where I attended 6A McKinney Boyd High School. I participated in extracurricular activities such as lacrosse, interact club, various community service events, and the interdisciplinary studies and mentorship program. I have been fortunate to volunteer at an estate planning law firm, and being granted a clerkship at a major corporate law firm. I plan on double majoring in economics and art history with a focus on pre-law. I cannot wait to see what adventures OWU takes us on and the memories that result.

Taylor Floyd

Hometown: Wilton, Connecticut

My name is Taylor Floyd, and I am from Wilton, CT, where I attended Wilton High School. During my time there I was a part of the German Honor Society, the Unicef Club, as well as a varsity soccer and basketball player. I was captain of my soccer team senior year, and I will be continuing to play as a goalkeeper for the Battling Bishops! At OWU I plan to study Sports Management and Finance. I cannot wait for the Economic Management Fellows program, and immersing myself in all it has to offer!

Jack Foley

Hometown: North Potomac, Maryland

My name is Jack A. Foley. I’m from North Potomac, Maryland which is about 30 minutes away from the White House! I went to Thomas S. Wootton High School and was the Varsity Punter on the Football team for 2 years. I started my own business, ReYuze Cases, my senior year. ReYuze Cases creates phone cases out of 100% recycled plastic from Haiti. I always enjoy a good challenge and look forward to my next four years at OWU.

Collin Kimbrough

Hometown: Westerville, Ohio

My name is Collin Kimbrough, and I’m from Westerville, Ohio, where I graduated from Worthington Christian High School, about 20 minutes from OWU. I’ve been involved in various clubs and projects while also being a three-year varsity letterman for the basketball team, including being the speaking captain my senior year. I will continue playing for the Bishops and plan on majoring in Business Administration (Marketing) while also studying Data Analytics. My interest for economics and business sparked while taking an entrepreneurship class my junior year and also because of my fantastic economics teacher who also attended OWU! I’m looking forward to the opportunities the EMF program offers and using them to prepare me for a career as a successful businessman!

Ashleigh Leonard

Hometown: Lewis Center, OH

My name is Ashleigh Leonard. At Ohio Wesleyan I plan to major in applied mathematics. I also have interests in economics and psychology. I went to Olentangy High School in Lewis Center, which is about 20 minutes away from OWU. In high school, I participated in many small clubs with my friends like gardening club, Spanish club, and service club. I am part of the National Honors Society and I hope to continue volunteer service throughout college. During high school I played soccer year round. In the fall I played varsity soccer for my high school and trained with Club Ohio during the spring. I play all over the field but my two favorite positions were defense and midfield. I am so excited to attend OWU this coming fall and be apart of the Economics Management Fellows Program!

Grace McDonald

Hometown: State College, Pennsylvania

My name is Grace McDonald and I’m from State College, Pennsylvania. I graduated from State College Area High School, where I was a part of FBLA, Diversity and Activism Club, Best Buddies and LGBTQA+ club. I also played field hockey year round for my school, and a club team. I first became interested in business through classes I took in high school, being a part of FBLA and through watching my aunt run her own business. I hope to use what I learn through EMF in combination with my other interests in politics and social justice to help people around the world. Many of my family members have attended OWU and I can’t wait to join the list. I am excited and appreciative to be a part of Economics Management Fellows.

Lucas Nathanson

Hometown: Newton, Massachusetts

My name is Lucas Nathanson. I grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston and am a 2018 graduate of Newton South High School. I was a varsity basketball player and a captain of my team senior year. I took business classes all four years of high school, ranging from international business to principles of marketing and look forward to continuing my study of business in the EMF program.

Joey Patterson

Hometown: Marysville, Ohio

My name is Joseph Patterson and I am from Marysville, Ohio. While attending Marysville High School, I participated in track, soccer, basketball, and Leadership Academy. At Ohio Wesleyan, I plan on double majoring in data analytics and business administration, along with a minor in communications. On top of that I will be running cross country and track for the Battling Bishops. I have always had a dream to become a business executive at a large company and my family and friends have always supported me in chasing those dreams. I am ecstatic to be joining the EMF program and thrive in my next four years at OWU!

Katie Priest

Hometown: Lewis Center, Ohio

My name is Katie Priest and I am from Lewis Center, Ohio, where I attended Olentangy Orange High School. At OOHS, I participated in track, basketball, Interact Club, National Honors Society, Spanish Club, Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, and DECA. At OWU, I plan on majoring in Data Analytics while concentrating on marketing. On top of academics at Ohio Wesleyan, I plan to be a part of the track team as a hurdler. I am very excited to attend OWU and can’t wait to see the many opportunities I will have with the EMF program being the first of many.

Abel Woldu

Hometown: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

My name is Abel Woldu, and I am an International student from Ethiopia. I went to Lideta Catholic Cathedral High School. While I was there, I played basketball and participated in a few student organizations. I was first exposed to the business world at a young age through my parents’ professions. I am very excited to attend Ohio Wesleyan and major in Economics. I am also incredibly grateful to be a part of the EMF program and hope to grow from this amazing opportunity.
