Haris Ali

Haris is from Lahore, Pakistan and is majoring in Economics and Mathematics, with a minor in Accounting. He had the opportunity to work with Tim Hague, M.D. of Whitney Partners in D.C., where he conceptualized how to run a successful real estate development firm through working in every aspect of the business. He is heavily involved in the campus as he is part of the Economics Student Board as well as the Chemistry Student Board. He is also a part of Horizons International, Rafiki and Cricket Club and a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He currently works as an Instructional Technologist Intern at OWU’s Information Services Department and also as a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry.

Parampreet Singh

Parampreet is from New Delhi, India and is majoring in Computer Science. He is the Founder, President, and Captain of OWU Cricket Club. His interest in Entrepreneurship started when he began applying to universities for his undergraduate degree. He observed that International students are lacking information regarding Liberal Arts Colleges and are just aiming for big expensive colleges rather looking out for rich college experience that is only provided by liberal arts colleges. That’s when he realized that he needed to create a platform that helps International students know more about liberal arts colleges, and help them ease the process of applying to colleges. Currently, he is working as an Instructional Tech Assistant in Information Services. Parampreet is also Interning with the Delaware Entrepreneurial Center based startup company as a Software developer where he is creating a website from scratch for the startup company.

Jayden Byfield-Ramirez

Jayden Byfield-Ramirez is from Washington, D.C. and is majoring in Politics & Government and Economics while minoring in Business and Spanish. He is a member of the Ohio Wesleyan Track and Field team and am also the treasurer and a player on the Rugby team. He has worked on campus as a desk assistant at the office of student involvement and as a field assistant to assistant Athletic director Michael Taylor. His gain is to gain knowledge from the multiple learning opportunities at OWU to be prepared for life after graduation.
