Ethan Berkovitz

My name is Ethan Berkovitz, and I am a Finance Economics major with an Accounting and Data & Society minor. I currently play for the men's soccer team at OWU and am a member of the EMF Program. I also serve as the finance and philanthropy committee chair of Phi Gamma Delta. After graduating, I plan to work in investment banking, private equity, or real estate. My goal is to move to a large metropolitan area and work in a competitive financial district. Ohio Wesleyan has already begun to help me achieve my professional goals. I am looking forward to working more closely with professors and faculty as a Corns Scholar.

Payne Johnson

Hi, my name is Payne Johnson, and I am from Barnesville, Ohio. I am a major in Accounting and I also plan to minor in Politics and Government. I am on the men's varsity golf team, a part of Cru, and also a member of the honors program on campus. I also work as a residential assistant. I am looking forward to all the opportunities and connections being a Corns Scholar will provide for me.

Melissa Murray

My name is Melissa Murray, and I am from Chardon, Ohio. I graduated from Notre-Dame Cathedral Latin, and I am double majoring in Biochemistry and Pre-Medicine with a minor in Finance. I am on the volleyball team and serve as vice president of finance for Delta Gamma sorority. I am also a member of the Global Scholars, Pre-Health Club, and Ski and Snowboard Club as well as Mortar Board, Gamma Sigma Alpha, and Order of Omega. Last summer I worked as a marketing and export-compliance intern with Kowalski Heat Treating, gaining some real-world business experience. I also work as a Chemistry Department tutor. I hope to study abroad next spring, and I am so excited for the opportunities and experience that being a Corns Scholars will bring.
