Charles Mintz: Precious Objects

What things do people treasure most? Charles Mintz's Precious Objects pair his photographs of people with their choice of a treasured possession and brief statements describing those objects' importance in the sitters' lives. By selecting, sometimes with great difficulty their most beloved object the sitters collaborated with Mintz in telling the stories of their lives.
Various Walls with Windows
This exhibit brings the illusion of openness to the Ross' windowless West Gallery walls. Using elements of abstraction and realism George Rush subtly challenges our perception of space within and outside of his paintings.
