About WOW

Started in 2016, Women of Ohio Wesleyan (WOW) has grown into a signature event for Ohio Wesleyan engaging and bringing together OWU women of all ages, backgrounds, and lifestyles. WOW celebrates being in a community with other leading women of Ohio Wesleyan, learning and sharing from each other and walking away with fresh perspectives and new or stronger friendships. WOW creates meaningful connections with Ohio Wesleyan and each other, leading to greater engagement, opportunities for networking, mentorship, and philanthropic support.

WOW Speaker Series 2021

The virtual speaker series builds upon WOW Weekend and continues personal connections, conversations, and important dialogue throughout the year. The Speaker Series introduces new topics of interest and also dives deeper into some of the topics introduced during the weekend.

WOW Weekend

WOW Weekend is a biennial gathering where OWU women come to campus, (or virtually) to join in discussions, conversations and topics that promote leadership, perseverance and empowerment.

We were pleased to welcome over 234 alumnae for our virtual WOW Weekend 2020!  Participants left inspired, motivated, empowered, and more connected to Ohio Wesleyan and each other.

WOW Mentorship Program

Being part of the WOW community also provides time for personal or professional development including networking and mentorship with other WOW women. The goal of the mentorship program is to pair interested women together with the expectation that individuals will connect a minimum of three times to explore a career interest, professional development and/or guidance,  or personal growth in a safe and collaborative space. Interested in becoming a WOW mentor or mentee? Check back soon to join!

WOW Facebook Group & WOW LinkedIn group

Networking and relationship building is incredibly important to the OWU community. Continue with personal and professional relationships, learn more about future WOW programming and more by joining one of these groups.
