DESCRIPTION:The OWU Chaplain&rsquo\;s Office will host NBC TV 4 meteorologist Ben Gelber and the Friday Night Live Music Band for a Klezmer concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 26 in the Benes Rooms of Hamilton-William Campus Center\, 40 Rowland Ave.\, Delaware.
Klezmer is a musical tradition of the Ashkenazi Jews of Eastern Europe\, played by professional musicians called klezmorim in ensembles known as kapelye.
The Nov. 26 concert will benefit the Tree of Life Synagogue\, family of OWU alumna Becca Sufrin &rsquo\;14 (who lost two members in the recent synagogue shootings)\, and Tikkun Olam Pittsburgh. Tikkun Olam Pittsburgh is a longstanding OWU partner and the site of a recent Spring Break Interfaith Mission Team experience.
