&nbsp\;

Harris will speak at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 in the Bayley Room on the second&nbsp\;floor of OWU's Beeghly Library\, 43 Rowland Ave.\, Delaware.&nbsp\;

&nbsp\;

Harris describes himself as&nbsp\;a mixed-media artist who combines his passions for social justice\, activism\, and art to create a visual vocabulary intended to engage audiences on some of the most critical issues facing society today.

&nbsp\;

Of his work\, he says:&nbsp\;&ldquo\;My&nbsp\;artwork expresses the real visceral outrage that a lot of African Americans have about the violence we&rsquo\;re still subjected to in the 21st century.&nbsp\; For centuries\, we have been told not to speak out about it. You don&rsquo\;t have to like it. It&rsquo\;s not only my history. This is American history.&rdquo\;

&nbsp\;
