Kalb taught painting\, drawing\, and modern art history in OWU&rsquo\;s Department of Fine Arts from 1967 to 2007. His early work has been described as having &ldquo\;a strong representational figural element with an experimental abstract expressionist background.&rdquo\; His later work includes powerful pieces inspired by the Holocaust\, combining his figurative and historical interests.
