DESCRIPTION:Horizons is hosting a Mid-Autumn Festival in October. Mid-Autumn Festivals are one of the most celebrated international events (Thanksgiving equivalent) throughout Asia from China\, Vietnam\, Singapore\, Thailand\, Japan\, Indonesia\, and Korea. It&rsquo\;s known as &ldquo\;Chuseok&rdquo\; in Korean culture and &ldquo\;Mooncake&rdquo\; in other Asian countries. The legend foretold that the Moon is at its brightest and fullest size for the harvest in the middle of Autumn. Please join us to celebrate by paying respect to the goddess of the moon in the legend who sacrifices for her village. There will be FREE food truck &amp\; mooncake! And the tradition is for the villagers to &ldquo\;make round cakes like the moon when the moon is full\, to welcome her to fly home.&rdquo\; Thus\, it is the custom to eat mooncakes and drink traditional milk during the Mid-Autumn Festival. May the glow of the moon surround you and light your way to health\, happiness\, and prosperity.
