DESCRIPTION:QPR is an evidence-based suicide intervention training developed by the QPR Institute. QPR teaches anyone how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and to follow the 3 simple steps of QPR - Question\, Persuade\, and Refer to get them the help they need. QPR training will be hosted by Brian Emerick\, Director of Residential Life. Brian is a certified QPR instructor with over 10 years of QPR experience. Training will take place in the Stuy Fishbowl Tuesday Oct. 18th at 8pm. The Fishbowl is located in the ground floor of Stuy past the kitchen and stage.
