Essay

* The goal of the student essay is to help the OWjL staff get to know you on a more individual basis. It provides you with an opportunity to share your interests, abilities, and creativity.

Choose only one question below to respond to in 250 words or less. Originality, uniqueness of thought, organization, correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar will help us select OWjL participants. Please remember to put your name on your essay.

1. Choose an historical person, who is no longer living, that you would like to interview. Explain who this person was, why you would like to interview him/her and what question or questions you would ask during the interview.

2. “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you’ve imagined.” – Henry David Thoreau. What dreams do you have? What life are you imagining for yourself? What are you doing to achieve that life?

Your essay must be attached to this form as a .DOC, a .DOCX, a .TXT, a .RTF, a .PDF, or a .PUB file using the file upload control below.
