Congratulations on your decision to attend Ohio Wesleyan University! Welcome to the OWU family!
All first-year students must register for and attend ONE Orientation Session.
You are eligible to register for Orientation once your enrollment deposit has been received by the Admissions Office (due no later than May 1). Registration links will be live by March 1st.
In order to ensure we can work in small groups, there is a cap on the number of students permitted to attend any one session. Sessions fill up quickly, so we urge you to register as soon as possible to ensure a spot in the session of your choice.
For the orientation sessions in June, students are housed on-campus in one of the residence halls. Parent housing on-campus is not available. A list of area hotels can be found by clicking here.
Orientation Session #1 - Wednesday, June 20 - Thursday, June 21, 2018
Orientation Session #2 - Saturday, June 23 - Sunday, June 24, 2018
Orientation Session #3 - Wednesday, June 27 - Thursday, June 28, 2018
We realize that not all students will be able to attend an orientation session in June. Students who are unable to make an orientation session in June will be required to attend Orientation Session #4. Please note that Orientation Session #4 is a two-hour student-only orientation session that occurs the day before classes begin on Wednesday, August 23rd. Since parents depart campus the evening of Move-In Day on August 16th, this mini-orientation session is for students only.
Students who register for Orientation Session #4 will be contacted by Academic Affairs on steps they will need to complete to register for fall classes. You should have your class schedule by the second week of July. More information about the August Orientation for those who cannot make it in June will be available at a later date.
