Dan Sharpe '06
Dan is the current Vice President, Community Research and Grants Management at The Columbus Foundation. At OWU, he majored in Politics & Government and Economics. Dan went on to study at the Harvard Business School of Executive Education, and received a Masters of Public Administration from Ohio University. He has held a variety of positions at The Columbus Foundations since 2004 including Online Media Manager and Director of Community Leadership and Nonprofit Effectiveness.
Miranda Ames '16
Miranda is Budget Management Analyst at the Ohio Office of Budget and Management. Miranda completed majors in Sociology/Anthropology and Economics at OWU. She has worked at a few different jobs before landing in state government.
Come hear how they navigated their careers and ask questions such as:
- how did you go about finding your various jobs?
- what were your grad school experiences like?
- what do you like and dislike about your job?
- how do you use what you've learned from OWU in your career?
- how have you navigated non-career life since graduating?
- did you ever envision yourself being where you are now?
