University Hall | Gray Chapel

Noted environmental historian William Cronon, Ph.D., the Frederick Jackson Turner and Vilas Research Professor of History, Geography, and Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will speak and be awarded an honorary degree, in Gray Chapel inside University Hall, 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware.

Cronon, a former president of both the American Historical Association and the American Society for Environmental History, will discuss "A Life Well Lived: Choose Your Own Adventure."

His research focuses his research on better understanding the history of human interactions with the natural world.

He will receive an honorary Ohio Wesleyan Doctor of Humane Letters degree – the university’s highest honor. Admission is free. Learn more at www.owu.edu/history.
