The Ross Art Museum is opening two new exhibits: Black Palimpsest: Jared Thorne explores the cultural commodification of African art objects in Western museums while asking how these same objects signify history, identity, and authenticity for many African Americans. Ohio Imprint: Dick Arentz & Brian Harnetty reflects on place, history, and human impact in Ohio through photography, sound collage, and video installation.
