Team OWU

Since 2004, Team OWU has supported Ohio Wesleyan student-athletes and coaches through generous gifts and from loyal alumni, families, and friends.

Team OWU is the fundraising arm of OWU Athletics. It's comprised of alumni, parents, families, and friends of OWU Athletics committed to providing the funds necessary to compete for championships.

The funds raised provide equipment upgrades, travel expenses, expanded recruiting efforts, and, most importantly, consistent financial stability to OWU Athletics.

Through generosity from over 1,100 supporters in fiscal year 2023, Team OWU provided resources for expenses associated with our 24 varsity athletic programs.

Who Are The Battling Bishops

One-third of current Ohio Wesleyan students participate in a varsity sport. OWU's scholar-athletes continue to achieve at the highest levels on the field and in the classroom. Last year, 84 Bishops were named to the NCAC Academic Honor Roll.
