Affinity Groups

Affinity groups are essential so alumni can continue their association with Ohio Wesleyan by engaging with alumni of shared interest.  
  • Athletic Alumni

  • First Gen
    • If you are interested in First Gen programming, please contact Katie Webster (kwebste@owu.edu)
    • First Gen is defined as "A student for whom no parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have completed a four-year (Bachelor's) degree, regardless of other family members' level of education."
       
      The following students would be first gen:
       
      Mom went to Howard; Dad did not attend college
      Mom graduated Ohio State at 50 years old.
      Student has a sibling who is 20 years older, but parents did not complete college.
      Student is a first-gen American. Parents went to Univ. in another country.
