Ohio Wesleyan’s annual Heritage Day celebration, commemorating “Nobelest Achievements: Environment Echoes of Sherwood Rowland,” in the atrium of Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, 40 Rowland Ave., Delaware. Rowland, OWU Class of 1948, won the Nobel Peace Prize in Chemistry for his work with chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and their impact on the earth’s ozone layer. Heritage Day commemorates the first day of classes held at Ohio Wesleyan on Nov. 13, 1844. Admission is free.
