The purpose of Oh-Weekend events is provide fun, on campus, late night, alcohol-free activities on the weekends to our students. Oh-Weekend programming strives to be diverse and engage attendance across campus.
YDSA will be hosting a women empowerment event on campus! The goal is to provide tools young women can use as we are navigating our identities! There will be makeovers, hair, group activities, focus groups and much more! Various discussions will be held concerning the social implications of being a women, or women of color, as well as transitioning into one. It is imperative we form coalitions on campus so every women feels supported and heard! As we activate the dignity within ourselves, we unconsciously release other women to do the same. Come out! A night to let go, and be loved!
