Earthdance Ohio is hosting "Organizing for Peace & Sustainability: The Work of Green Columbus." Come hear how Green Columbus is working to make a difference in central Ohio, and how we can contribute. Green Columbus is dedicated to promoting sustainable living in central Ohio by hosting forums, raising awareness, and encouraging local action. The organization works with community leaders, nonprofits, businesses, and organizes the largest Earth Day in the nation. Since 2007, Green Columbus has encouraged the central Ohio community to complete more than 69,000 hours of "green" service. Executive Director Kristen Pendrey and Board Member Ellen Eilers will present. The session will take place at Ohio Wesleyan University at 4 p.m. Nov. 16. It will be held in the Bayley Room on the second floor of Beeghly Library, 43 Rowland Ave. Admission is free.
