OWU takes pride in its first-class fitness facilities that uphold the Bishop tradition. They are available to rent and use over the summer for specific events. This includes OWU’s first “green” building the Meeks Aquatics and Recreation Center, the Branch Rickey Physical Education Center that sits 2300, and OWU’s Selby Stadium, the fourth-largest football stadium among NCAA Division III schools.
Branch Rickey Arena seats 1,450 for its basketball games. It is next to the Gordon Field House which has a five-lane track and indoor tennis courts.
The Meek Aquatics Center boasts a 10-lane pool, a 13-foot-deep diving well, and 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards.
Selby is the fourth-largest football stadium in the NCAA Division III. Holding up to 9,000 people it has a complete track, pressbox, scoreboard, and locker rooms.
