Some of the things you've been told about college...are just wrong. At OWU, we do college differently.

MYTH #1: College is just about landing your first job.

At OWU, your first job isn't your finish line. We prepare you for a lifetime of purpose, not just a paycheck.

MYTH #2: You must pick the "right" major now.

At OWU, your major doesn't define you. You define you. In fact, 80% of students change their major—at OWU, that's part of the plan, not a problem. So take your time to dig deep and discover who you were meant to be.

MYTH #3: Liberal arts won't prepare you for the real world.

At OWU, our liberal arts approach = adaptability + power skills. Think communication, collaboration, curiosity, and leadership.

MYTH #4: Private schools too expensive.

At OWU, we make private education affordable—$50 million in financial aid distributed annually. Nearly every student pays far less than the sticker price.
