Kyle Adams '09
Young Alumni Award recipient for his achievements marked by service, leadership, and unwavering dedication to community betterment.
Max's current role as a polar expedition guide with Aurora Expeditions is a testament to his commitment to adventure and conservation. Significant achievements mark his professional journey, including his reception of a Fulbright research grant after graduating from OWU with degrees environmental science, zoology, and economics.

Sheila was named the director of the Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2006-2019. Her service and leadership led her to serve as vice president (2013-2016) and subsequently president (2016-2019). Her involvement as an alum, a reunion fundraising volunteer, an inaugural Women of Ohio Wesleyan (WOW) committee member, a member of the 1842 Society and Loyal Bishop Society, and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and Wesleyan Student Foundation while attending OWU reflects her profound commitment to her alma mater.

Madelaine's journey from Ohio Wesleyan University to becoming the founder and owner of Mavec Collections showcases the transformative influence of passion, persistence, and intent. Her desire and commitment to inspiring through art has garnered praise and left an indelible mark on both the artistic and entrepreneurial landscapes.

Pooja's path from Ohio Wesleyan University to her current position as senior director of international philanthropy at the International Rescue Committee exemplifies the profound impact of passion and purpose. With a degree in zoology, she set out to make a tangible difference in the world, placing compassion and empathy at the forefront of her efforts.

After graduating from OWU with fine arts and religion degrees, Dan received a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary and earned a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Michigan State University. Dan was one of the founders of The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology and served as president from 2002-2009. Dan founded The Allender Center in 2011 to cultivate healing and train leaders and mental health professionals.

Tim's student-athlete experience at Ohio Wesleyan and an impressive resume of head varsity baseball coach positions culminated in a long tenure at Vanderbilt University. He turned the Commodores into a national power, leading Vanderbilt to two national championships in the last ten seasons (2014, 2019). The 2025 season is Tim's 23rd year as head coach.

Kyle's remarkable journey from Ohio Wesleyan University to his current role as managing director of investments at Stifel in Wooster, Ohio, exemplifies the transformative power of a liberal arts education. Graduating with a B.A. in economics management, Kyle's collegiate achievements were just the beginning of his journey.
